Come along and join us on this exciting adventure!
For
so long, we have been gathering and working in rented spaces, double
wide trailers, nurseries and a sanctuary that do not satisfy our needs and abilities to go out and serve the community to the fullest extent. For
our entire history, multiple times each week, we have said to our
people, our guests, and our community, “We are sorry, we just don’t have
the space…”
Can you imagine what we could do if we did? God has “Greater Things” in store for us as a congregation. At this very moment, we are making decisions that will affect the future of this congregation for decades to come. In 2012 and beyond, we will continue this good work together to accomplish fulfilling the
needs of growth here at Woodlake United
Methodist Church and making room for developing even more disciples.
Methodist Church and making room for developing even more disciples.
The time is here! We can finally have our ministries together on one piece of property. All those hours dedicated to set-up, take-down, and other logistics can now be dedicated to teaching, serving, and working in mission beyond our walls.
By building this facility, we will be
making a spiritual home for us and more importantly, for the generations who will follow in our
footsteps. Our sacrifice now means that for decades to come there will
be laughter in our halls, faith in the hearts of our community, and
mission in the hands of our grandchildren.
